Finding the perfect institution to guide you through your next stage of life is a difficult task. Each school has a unique personality and caters to a specific kind of student. How do you know what would be a good fit? What goals do you wish to achieve post-education? How can each school help you achieve these goals? 

That’s where I come in. 

I will provide you with a comprehensive search for the perfect match. After our free consultation, I will find which schools best align with your musical individuality and goals. In my search, I will highlight important faculty, admission representatives, and connections for each specific program. I will provide you with an incomparable deep dive into each program and jumpstart the most difficult process in the college application process – how do I begin?

Once you have indicated a handful of schools that interest you, how do you apply? Compared to more standard institutions, conservatories have a different approach to reading essays and applications. How can we work together to convey to the universities that you understand this process, are confident in your musical personality, and are a good fit for their institution? 

Through a series of sessions, I will walk you through the specific application and Common Application processes for each school. Using my knowledge of processing applications on the admissions side, I will provide insight into what specifically each university is looking for, help with the editing process, and tidy up every application.

For each application, you will be able to convey who you are, what you want out of school, and how each specific institution will be able to help you achieve this.

Now for the hard part. You’ve done your research, written your applications, and been invited to audition. Years of hard work, private lessons, and gigs have prepared you for this moment, but how can you stand out from the crowd? What exactly are conservatories looking for? 

I’ve auditioned myself, and I’ve reviewed auditions as an admissions professional. I know exactly what conservatories want. It isn’t just a matter of finding the best musicians; more is involved. I will work with you and your private instructor to give audition tips, provide mock auditions, and record your virtual auditions. 

 Once you have auditioned, and the acceptances have rolled in, the fun begins. How do you decide where to go? I will help you arrange trial lessons at the school and meetings with deans, identify key alumni to contact, and show you how to negotiate the best merit aid package. With this research in hand, you’ll be able to approach this important decision with confidence.
